C. Godly Attributes of Heart:
1. Pure, Matt. 5:8 (1 Tim. 1:5; 2 Tim. 2:22; James 4:8; 1 Pet. 1:22).
2. Forgiving, Matt. 18:35 (Col. 3:13).
3. Tender, Eph. 4:32.
4. Gracious, ruled by God’s peace, Heb. 13:9; Col. 3:15.
5. Meek and quiet, 1 Pet. 3:4.
6. True, Heb. 10:22 (genuine, sincere, Eph. 6:5-7).
7. Melodious, joy-filled, Eph. 5:19.
D. Encouraged, Col. 2:2. (Knit together in love, full assurance…)

B. Closed, 1 John 3:16-18 (indifferent, fails to love).

E. Deceived, James 1:26 (27).
F. Evil and Unbelieving, Heb. 3:12-13.

Conclusion
