> Can you telll me where in the Bible God denounces women wearing a man's

Although I do not know for certain the reasoning behind the Pentecostal
practice, I suspect that it is drawn from Deut. 22:5:  "A woman shall not
wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman's
garment, for all who do so are an abomination to the Lord your God."

Thus, the law which God gave through Moses to the children of Israel forbade
"cross-dressing" as immoral conduct.

The gospel of Christ teaches the principle that men are not to portray
themselves as women, or vice versa (1 Cor. 11:3, 7-15).

It should be noted that women's pants and men's pants are different.  They
are cut very differently -- for the female body, not the male body.  Thus,
to just say that women cannot wear pants misses the point.  Women are not to
dress in a way that portrays them as men - and vice versa.  Wearing a
ladies' pants suit does not portray a woman as a man!  (I don't know any men
who wear them!!)

I hope this is of some help to you.  Thanks again for your question.

Sincerely,
Joe Price
