Your first question:
> The first is how many Apostles are there? and the names
Jesus chose 12 men to be His apostles (they are named in Matthew 10:1-4;
Mark 3:13-19; Luke 6:12-16; Acts 1:13). He chose Matthias to replace Judas
(Acts 1:15-26) and He chose Saul of Tarsus (Paul) to also be an apostle
(Acts 26:16).
An apostle is "one who is sent", and Jesus sent His apostles into the world
to preach the gospel and bear their eyewitness testimony of seeing Jesus -
Mk. 16:15-16; Acts 1:8; 1 Jno. 1:1-4. The qualifications of an apostle of
Christ are stated in Acts 1:21-22.
Cordially yours,
