  B.  Seek Heavenly Things, Set Your Mind and Sustain your Life of Faith, Col. 3:1-4.

V.  GIVE GOD THE FIRST PLACE IN YOUR HEART. Psa. 37:5-6

  B.  In Order to Always Act in Love, Matt. 22:37-39; 1 Jno. 4:7-8.

-Above all else, have "fervent love" for each other, 1 Pet. 4:8.

  C.  In Order to Live in Hope, Col. 1:22-23; 2 Thess. 2:16-17.

     1.  Divided heart hopes in temporary things, cf. 2 Cor. 4:16-18.

     2.  God gives us "living hope" - Without Him we have no hope, 1 Pet. 1:3.
